A quick guide to your WOWCare Health Subscription benefits.

What is WOWCare Health?

WOWCare is a healthcare service that you can subscribe to directly, without a marketplace or insurance company. WOWCare covers many primary care services, medications, and additional services to enhance your overall health and well-being.

WOWCare does not provide for all of your healthcare needs, such as emergency care, surgery and hospitalizations. Therefore, we recommend that you consider an insurance policy for the needs not included by WOWCare.

How much does WOWCare cost?

The WOWCare Plan costs $159 per month.

What do I get for my monthly payment?

No Co-Pays. No Deductibles. And many of the most commonly needed medical & health services.

Primary Care Provider Visits

  • Provider can coordinate your care with a wide range of medical professionals.

Pharmacy

  • In-house Clinical Pharmacists
  • Acute Generic Medications available on-site for most common illness prescriptions, saving you a trip to the pharmacy.
  • Medication Therapy Management: the Pharmacist can help you understand the medications prescribed and how to use them properly.
  • Enhanced Medication Package: Gain access to more generic medications with one of our participating locally owned and operated pharmacies.

Full-Service Lab

  • Blood is drawn and tested in our facility, saving you a trip to a lab and speeding up results.

Screenings

  • Prostate Cancer Screening
  • Heart and Lung Disease
  • Liver and Kidney Disease
  • Cholesterol
  • Diabetes
  • Mammograms
  • Bone Density Scans

Diagnostic Testing as prescribed by your Provider

  • Imaging (X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, Sonograms, Ultrasounds)
  • Cardiology (Stress Tests, Echocardiogram, EKGs)
  • Pulmonology (Lung Function, Spirometry, Sleep Studies)

Therapies

  • Physical Therapy: as prescribed by your Provider
  • Behavioral and Mental Health Counseling
  • Dietitians: education and advice on nutrition and healthy eating

Mobility Assistive Devices

  • Equipment to help people with injuries, such as walking boots, splints, braces, and crutches

Important Things to Know:

  • Initial sign-up is for a 6-month duration
  • There’s a $29 fee to sign up
  • Your healthcare services start as soon as you sign up.
  • You will be billed starting at the end of your first month.
  • There are no refunds if you cancel in the middle of the month.
  • You agree to use Gloria Gates CARE Providers for ALL of your primary healthcare services.

What’s NOT Included with Your Subscription

While your subscription provides comprehensive primary care, it’s important to understand what’s not covered. Here’s a list of services and items that are not included in your subscription:

  1. Emergency Room Visits: Your subscription does not cover emergency room visits. For life-threatening emergencies, always call 911 or go to your nearest emergency care center.
  2. Urgent Care Centers: Visits to standalone urgent care facilities are not covered.
  3. Specialized Medications:
    • Experimental drugs
    • Non-generic medications for acute conditions
    • Brand name or injectable chronic disease medications (i.e., insulin therapy)
    • Specialty drugs (such as those for cancer treatment)
  4. Major Medical Procedures: Surgeries, Inpatient/outpatient hospital stays, Advanced cancer treatments, dialysis, and many other specialized services.
  5. Specialized Care:
    • Ongoing care from medical specialists (neurologists) beyond initial consultations
    • Long-term mental health treatment and nursing home care beyond what’s provided in our centers
  6. Advanced Diagnostic Procedures:
    • Genetic testing
    • Biopsies
  7. Dental and Vision Care: No dental or vision services are included.
  8. Alternative Therapies: Services like acupuncture, chiropractic care, or massage therapy are not included.
  9. Home Health Care: Nursing or medical care provided in your home is not part of this subscription.
  10. Cosmetic Procedures: That are not medically necessary as deemed by your Provider are not included.
  11. Fertility Treatments: Services related to infertility or assisted reproduction are not covered.
