Can I see a Provider right after I sign up?

Your coverage starts as soon as you sign up. Billing begins at the end of the month you sign up.

What happens if I cannot pay one month?

Your subscription will be suspended. Kindly give us a call at 844-310-2273 to get your subscription reinstated. It is important to keep your payments up to date so you can always get care when you need it.

Can I get expensive tests like MRIs right away?

Yes, if it is deemed medically necessary and ordered by your Provider. The Provider will make sure you get the tests you need, based on your health requirements in a timely manner. The list of services available to you is detailed on our Subscription Page.

What if I want to cancel?

Your initial subscription is for a minimum of 6 months. You can cancel any time after your first 6 months. If you cancel, you can keep using the service until the end of the month you have paid for. If you cancel, you cannot sign up again for twelve months after the month of your cancellation.

How do I sign up?

You are welcome to come into our Altoona Enrollment Center at 1304 7th St, Suite B-3, Altoona, PA 16601, or our Berwick Clinic at 695 E 16th St, Suite F, Berwick, PA 18603, and we will help you sign up in person. You can also call 844-310-2273, and we can complete your sign-up over the phone. In some cases, your employer may invite us to your workplace for a convenient sign-up.

What if I need to see a specialist?
Specialist visits are not included in your monthly fee. Your WOWCare Provider will help decide if you need to see an outside specialist. if you do, we will help arrange the appointment.
Are all medications free?

No, not all medications are covered. WOWCare covers many generic medications. Branded medications and/or some newer medications might not be included. Your Provider and Pharmacist can work with you to find affordable options for medications not covered by WOWCare.

What if I have a health emergency?
WOWCare does NOT COVER medical emergencies. Our services are for routine healthcare needs to help prevent medical and health emergencies. If you have a serious medical emergency, you should go directly to the emergency room. We strongly recommend buying individual health insurance on the market. We can help you navigate Obamacare to select your individual insurance plan.
Can my whole family join?
Family members ages 18-64 can join.
What if I am healthy and do not need to see a doctor often?
That is great. WOWCare is still valuable for you. We focus on addressing your overall health and well-being, with annual check-ups and preventive care. Think of this plan as an investment in staying healthy.
